Glenna Miller
Principal, Federal Programs & Systems Engineering
Glenna Miller supports the Aurelian Group and its clients in program management, systems engineering, and drawing on more than two decades of experience across the United States Department of Defense earned in both government and contractor roles supporting the Navy and Air Force.
Glenna has led complex, high-value acquisition and engineering programs from within the federal government and industry, directing efforts funded at more than $20M per year and shaping funding requests exceeding $100M across the Future Years Defense Program. As Deputy Director of Surface Navy Threat Engineering at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, and as Deputy Department Head for the Office of Naval Intelligence program office, she built and defended new programs of record, managed the full acquisition lifecycle, and led multidisciplinary teams, including a technical community of more than 60 contributors. She served approximately four years at the GS-15 supervisory level.
A systems engineer by training, Glenna specializes in traditional and Agile (SCRUM) development, Model Based Systems Engineering, requirements development, and configuration and risk management. She brings deep expertise in the Risk Management Framework and cybersecurity Test and Evaluation, having led programs to Authority to Operate across multiple security domains and worked with the Intelligence Community to address supply chain and cybersecurity threats to acquisition programs. Earlier in her career she served for five years as a scientific and technical intelligence analyst and the senior subject matter expert on advanced adversary cruise missile systems.
An Army veteran who served as a Sergeant and senior electronics instructor, Glenna holds a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School, a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Maryland, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems. She is DAWIA Program Management Level III certified and has held a TS/SCI clearance. Her service has been recognized with the National Intelligence Exceptional Achievement Medal, two Department of the Navy Meritorious Civilian Service Awards, and the NSWC Dahlgren Division award for Excellence in Systems Engineering.
